I'm a proud owner of three chihuahua mixes who collectively weigh less than a Thanksgiving turkey but somehow take up the entire couch, dictate my schedule, and run my household with iron paws. Watching them navigate the world with unshakeable confidence, completely unaware (or unbothered) by their size, made me realize something:

Small dog owners are built different.

We're the people who've learned to step carefully in our own homes. Who carry our "guard dogs" past actual guard dogs. Who've had to explain that yes, our 7-pound furball really does think they can take on that German Shepherd. And honestly? We wouldn't have it any other way.

But when I looked for apparel that captured this lifestyle, the humor, the chaos, the inexplicable pride we feel for our pocket-sized protectors, I found nothing. Just generic "dog mom" shirts that could apply to anyone with a pet.

Small dog ownership isn't generic. It's a whole personality.

So I created BigDog Energy: a brand for people who understand that confidence doesn't come from size, it comes from attitude. For owners of tiny dogs with massive personalities. For anyone who's ever been simultaneously embarrassed by and fiercely defensive of their small but mighty companion.
